A big congrats to WeAreInIt who brought together community leaders, tech professionals, artists, and concerned citizens to question the promise of AI.
A panel featuring San Diego government personnel and tech professionals questioned the current AI narrative as told by Silicon Valley and asked how we can preserve human agency as these systems scale.
Attendees weren’t just listening to experts, they helped drives the conversation. We broke into three tracts: civic, professional, and community and were lead through some design thinking activities to focus on our greatest problems and offer a call the action.
